Voice Options

Audio/telephony options range from POTS (plain old telephone service) to Internet calling, to converged services (integrated voice, video, data and messaging) that can provide quality similar to or better than legacy (traditional phone line) networks.

We know you want flexible, scalable voice and video calling options that enable headquarters, branch offices and mobile employees to communicate effortlessly that are the same or less than you’re paying now.

How Does this Really Help Me?

TelData Brokers will maximize the infrastructure you already have in place. Whether it’s a traditional phone system or using your data network – to enable audio and video calls using data ‘lines,’ via VoIP (voice over internet protocol) or SIP (session initiation protocol) trunking – or a combination of multiple approaches that converges calling options.

TelData Brokers’s telecom voice options, such as SIP, streamline communications by connecting diverse devices, such as calling gateways, proxies, servers, soft-phones (on PCs, PDAs, etc.), Private Branch Exchange (PMX) systems, instant messaging, video conferences, and e-collaboration systems. Because SIP isn’t tied to a specific geographic location, it has number mobility that can be used wherever and whenever.

How SIP Works

SIP works via an IP connection. Voice is transmitted over a carrier cloud (versus traditional circuitry) and data (email, video, files, etc.) is transported through SIP servers. SIP trunking lowers costs by fostering free calls between sites, free DDI (Directed Dialing Inwards) rental, and in possibly eliminating ISDN line rental charges.

Other than costs savings of simplifying communications, the advantage of a telecom option such as SIP is that communications are fast, secure and synced with your business operations. Calls can be instantly routed and recorded, and emails can be forwarded, answered, written and sent within seconds. This kind of flexibility is vitally important for all businesses, especially time-sensitive-response call centers. In addition, TelData Brokers can build privacy protocols (e.g., security certificates, authentication) into the SIP language, so business leadership will be comfortable with the security of virtual communication for remote workers and parters.
